Who Uses Your Info?
Lots of people have been using this information to improve services for children and their families:
- MSPs (Members of the Scottish Parliament)
- Education Scotland (who are in charge of improving education in Scotland)
- Organisations like Save the Children and Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People who campaign for the rights of children
- We also have lots of interest from doctors, midwives, health visitors, nursery workers, teachers and social workers.
GUS is a ‘longitudinal’ research study. This means that we follow the same people over time. It is very important to us that you continue to take part in the study. No one else can provide us with your valuable information! It has to be you, so that we can look at how things change over time.
Finally, a big THANK YOU to you and your family for taking part. We couldn’t do this research without you. Your information will help to make Scotland the best place in the world to grow up.
